Dual Roller Blinds

Puckering refers to the wrinkled appearance of the fabric where it meets the base rail of a blind. Typically, an aluminium base rail is attached to the fabric using a plastic spline with adhesive, which is then stapled to secure the fabric. The fabric is folded and inserted into a slot in the aluminium profile to ensure a snug fit.

While puckering may not always occur, it is unpredictable and can vary between batches of fabric. Fabric manufacturers are unable to prevent puckering, and despite efforts by industry suppliers like Rollease Acmeda to develop alternative attachment methods, a definitive solution has not been found so they have come to the conclusion there is no full and final fix. Puckering is often influenced by temperature fluctuations, with daytime heat from the sun sometimes causing it to reduce or disappear, only to reappear at night.

It's important to note that puckering is not considered a manufacturing or fabric fault and may persist despite efforts to eliminate it.

Each product has a different lead-time however we try and coordinate all products in to one convenient delivery.

In some situations, it may be desirable for you to split the order to obtain some products ahead of others. In this case your sales agent or showroom consultant will be able to advise you of the lead-times for each product.

It must be remembered to have any existing window coverings down prior to the installation of your new blinds (unless alternative arrangements have been made).

Every Product has a different installation time  – please be patient with our installers. In any case our installers will work as efficiently as possible and we do ask you to be home.
